This new fund is a tool that directly helps children and adults with intellectual disabilities (ID), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), physical disabilities (PD) or any other form of recognized handicap. Equipment not covered by public services may be provided on loan to users receiving care and services at the CIUSSS de l'Estrie - CHUS. The Fonds PHASE also supports purchases aimed at improving the quality of life of users in rehabilitation settings.

Purchase criteria
Equipment not covered in whole or in part by a public program
Equipment enabling users to improve their social participation (leisure, sport, work, etc.).
Equipment that is not for single use, and will be revalued for other users with the same need, or to set up a bank of equipment for testing before purchase by the user or his/her family.
The Fonds PHASE is aimed at clients known to the Direction du Programme Jeunesse (DPJe) and the Direction du soutien à domicile et des services spécialisés en gériatrie, en déficience et en trouble du spectre de l'autisme (DSAD-SSG-DTSA).
