Travelling to give back!
Since the very beginning of Destination Soleil, altruism and solidarity have been at the heart of our travellers' motivations. We're lucky enough to be able to take part in this wonderful trip, but we're well aware that not everyone is so lucky. Everywhere around us, disease, poverty and misfortune strike without regard...
In 2024, we set up the Destination Soleil Foundation to give back to the three foundations that will benefit from the trip: the CHUS Foundation, the MB Capital Foundation and the Justin Lefebvre Foundation.
Thanks to you, our three beneficiary foundations will receive additional funds to enable them to pursue their forward-looking mission.

During the Clipper Race Round the world 2019-2020, Bertrand Hould had the idea to raise $1 for each kilometer traveled in order to support the Fonds Coeur en tête and brain cancer research in Dr. David Fortin's laboratory at the CIUSSS de l'Estrie — CHUS. Now, Bertrand is offering conferences in order to tell his adventure and his story.
