In fact, nearly 775 gift boxes from the 2021 Holiday Sherbybox have found takers. In addition to being sold online via the site sherbybox.ca as a simple and local gift idea, this holiday edition was offered to businesses in the region by the Relève Committee as an alternative to the usual corporate gifts. Seven of them boarded and thus gave a Sherbybox to their employees and partners.

It should be noted that all profits generated by the sale of these gift boxes are donated to the CHUS Foundation. Since its creation in 2020, the Sherbybox project has made it possible to encourage and promote more than 25 local businesses, to involve more than 60 volunteers and to offer a dose of comfort to thousands of Estrians with more than 7,760 gift boxes distributed.
“The Sherbybox is really a great addition to the Foundation's activities because it allows buyers, or the person to whom they offer it, to discover local products. This fits in well with the Foundation's mission, which is to support the quality of health care offered here. In both cases, the feeling of belonging to the region, mutual aid and solidarity are at the heart of success,” says Martin Clermont, Executive Director of the CHUS Foundation.
For the young company Hot Poc, the association with Sherbybox was natural: “We wanted to participate in the Sherbybox because we wanted to contribute to this wave of support and mutual aid in our city. At Hot Poc, being involved in our society and giving back is at the heart of our values.”
