Presented by Sports Experts from Carrefour de l'Estrie, Équipe Bérubé and Powerlace, the event ended on a more than positive note by announcing an amount of $200,000 that will be donated to this Fund. Indeed, three donors present at the evening, Mr. Yves Poisson, Mr. Richard Verreault and Mr. Michel Laroche, generously chose to increase the amount of $97,106 raised during the event to $200,000.

Invited for dinner and the evening at the restaurant Les Enfants Terribles in Magog, the guests were able to have a good time with each other. The auction allowed them to express their generosity towards the cause. The sale of unique prizes, such as VIP tickets for a Canadiens match or a round of golf at the Memphrémagog Private Golf Club, will allow the CHUS Foundation to support research and care relating to pathologies that particularly affect men.
“This year, the benefits of the event will be used to support the cardiology and urology sectors. We are fortunate to have, here in Sherbrooke, highly renowned researchers who contribute directly to scientific innovation and to the concrete improvement of the health care provided to us. By contributing to the Human Health Fund, we enable these researchers and doctors to take better care of all men,” says Martin Clermont, CEO of the CHUS Foundation.
It should be noted that the first Chemise Blanche evening, held in 2019, brought in $86,746. This sum was supplemented by a corporate donation of $100,000 offered by the Laroche Group.
