The sale of boxer shorts, in the colors of Neapolitan ice cream, held in December and January last year raised $46,000 to the CHUS Foundation. A portion of this amount, $6,000, will be directed to pediatric research.
“It is really important for our company to contribute to health and the improvement of care in our region. We are very happy to have had the support of the Estrie community and even other regions for the sale of our three-color boxer shorts. Launching this product, knowing that it would have a concrete impact, motivated our team doubly.”
to explain Ms. Roxanne Provencher, marketing and communications director at Laiterie de Coaticook.
“It is reassuring to be able to count on local businesses that help us achieve our goals and fulfill our mission. La Laiterie de Coaticook is a perfect example of this and I want to thank its entire team for this initiative! ”
adds Martin Clermont, CEO of the CHUS Foundation.
Boxers still available
People interested in supporting the cause by purchasing a pair of “Neapolitan boxers” can still do so directly at the offices of the Fondation du CHUS, at 530, 10E Avenue Sud in Sherbrooke or even at the Foundation's store at the Fleurimont Hospital. It's a great Easter opportunity!
