C'est avec une immense reconnaissance que la Fondation du CHUS accueille le don de 250 000 $ de M. Maurice Pinsonnault. Cet homme d’affaires installé dans la région, mais qui est présent partout dans le monde, a décidé de contribuer au fonds général de la Fondation du CHUS en répondant positivement à l’appel d’un des membres du cabinet de la campagne majeure, actuellement en cours.

“When Ms. Michèle Dionne called on me to become a donor, I did not hesitate for a second,” says the president and founder of Angelcare, which in particular designed and marketed the baby monitors of the same name. “The mission of the Foundation is to improve health care for people here through the acquisition of highly specialized medical equipment and through research. I have always wanted to innovate to make things better, so what the Fondation en Santé does is very much in line with this vision,” he says.
The general fund allows the CHUS Foundation to meet the needs of the two hospitals in Sherbrooke or to finance projects at the CHUS Research Center. “This fund allows us to meet various needs, often urgent, expressed by institutions in order to improve the quality and accessibility of care for patients. Whether for equipment, small or larger projects, the Foundation can invest more quickly thanks to the general fund. Thank you to donors like Mr. Pinsonnault who allow us to do more for health,” concluded the Executive Director of the Foundation, Mr. Martin Clermont.
The major campaign was launched in 2018 and will end at the end of fiscal year 2022. The goal to be reached is $40 million.
